Yesenia's Mexican Food is a gem. The fresh ingredients truly make a difference. The avocado and meats, especially the asada and pollo asado, were incredibly fresh and flavorful, elevating the entire meal. We tried a variety of dishes, including the fajitas, beef tacos, mini asada tacos, and the Conga Burrito, and every bite was delicious. The guacamole was perfectly creamy and tasted freshly made. Even the salad was impressive with its fresh veggies and well-seasoned chicken. If you're in the area and looking for authentic, quality Mexican food, Yesenia's should definitely be on your list. Great flavors, generous portions, and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend!

Decided to stop by after seeing this was a fan favorite for California burritos. You would not even expect it in such an unassuming location. This spot is located right in the heart of Carmel Mountain, not where one would expect to find the best burrito in San Diego. Even with skeptical expectations, my family was surprised at how good the burrito really was! What is unique about this place is that the meat is grilled in the burrito! I think most spots would just put cooked meat, but at Yesenia's they give that extra char. This on top of the extensive salsa bar, you can't beat the vibes. There are so many seats both inside and outside! I think the extra hot green sauce was their best. I really cannot wait to come back to try their other options, as this is now our go to for solid burritos in San Diego!

Best veggie burrito and tomatillo salsa. Very simple decor and efficient service, I get it to go. I wish they had black bean tacos, but their veggie burritos are the tastiest in PQ

I always passed by this spot when shopping at Daiso. I finally came one day during lunch and I'm glad I did. The inside has plenty of seats, and the staff are very friendly. They make everything to order mostly. You will have no trouble finding a seat due to their interior and outdoor patio. I got their Ceviche and it was really fresh and delicious. Give this spot a try.

Good food for the price point. Beef enchiladas were flavorful but the chicken tamale was just masa :( big let down. The ship enchiladas were tasty and generous. Super disappointed I ordered hot carrots and jalapeño and they were soggy, not hot and had the thinnest sliver of jalapeño in the whole baggie. It's a great place to grab a full belly meal while wearing sweats :)

I wanted beef soup but they are out today, had chicken soup instead. Pretty good for a chilly fall day. Loved it, tastes good and they give pretty big portion, I would love to come back for sure.

I'm going to start with they have an amazing salsa bar! There are like 7 salsas, spicy carrots, cucumber slices, and even roasted peppers! Loved this! For our main dishes we got: - Carne asada burrito - delicious but my kid thought it had too much pico de gallo in it. - Carnitas burrito - the bottom was quite oily but the pork was crispy but juicy and flavorful. It was delicious! - California burrito - it was carne asada with thicker fries. It was super dry at first because we got no sour cream but it was supposed to have guacamole. When we asked about it they were super nice and loaded it up! It was a bit on the pricier side but the burrito was also quite big so there were leftovers! I can't wait to try the seafood stuff too!

Ordered the carne asada fries with crispy fries. It was so delicious! The fries were seasoned and were actually crispy. Had lots meat. It's large enough for 2 people to share. There's a salsa bar with several different salsas to choose from. You can get as much as you want When we went there was no line so we ordered right away. The food also came out pretty quickly. It got crowded while we were eating but there are few tables inside to eat. There's also tables outside to eat as well. You can't get carne asada fries like this in oc so will def come back again when I'm craving some good carne asada fries.
